We have worked with Clarks Contracts to provide safe access to the roofs at the refurbished Former Educational HQ in Greenock.
The £1.8m refurbishment of the Category B listed property included the internal and external refurbishment to provide office accommodation for Inverclyde Council’s Environmental Services Section.
As with most properties, access is required to the roof for maintenance and repair purposes, however, being a listed property a discreet form of protection for those working on the roof was required.
Roof Edge Fabrications’ roof anchors provide the ideal solution. Suitable for installation on most roof types, the roof anchors are easy to install and designed to make maintenance work on roofs safer, quicker and more cost effective. The permanently fixed anchor points are mounted on the slope of the roof, which enables the anchor to be fixed next to the access point. The anchor point is designed for single users who simply attach an appropriate safety lanyard to the anchor to provide safe and secure protection when working on the roofs.
