Horizontal life line systems provide ideal fall arrest protection for areas where guardrails are not suitable or for when a discreet solution is required for aesthetic reasons.
KeeLine® is a wire based personal protection system for roof installation or horizontal/overhead applications on structures. The system provides complete and continual ‘handsfree’ protection for up to three people when working at height and features an inline shock absorber which reduces the shock loading on both the user and building’s structure in the event of a fall.
KeeLine® Overhead provides personal protection for situations where overhead protection is required such as vehicle loading and maintenance, machine and maintenance access, building maintenance and overhead crane access.
The KeeLine® life line system has been tested to and conforms to the requirements of EN795 2012.
KeeLine® has been tested for use on a variety of different roof types, these include standing seam, membrane, metal profile using ‘top fix’ anchors, or using a ‘through fix’ anchor (POSTANKA) for fixing to the main building structure. KeeLine® can also be mounted directly to concrete, steel, brick or stonework in either horizontal or overhead applications if required.
KeeLine® and KeeLine® Overhead are fully tested and meet current safety requirements.
Fall protection systems must be maintained and examined at least once a year as outlined in standards and legislation such as EN 365, EN 795 and BS 7883.
