CABLOC VERTICAL FALL PROTECTION

Cabloc provides vertical fall arrest protection based on a vertical tensioned cable system and arrester device.

The system allows complete hands free protection when accessing vertical structures such as ladders or masts and is ideal for situations where a standard track system would hinder use of the system.

• Designed to prevent falls from fixed ladders or structures
• Allows entry/exit at any point along the entire length of the system
• Can be installed on various structures using specially designed brackets
• Traveller designed with a double action fail safe mechanism

EASE OF INSTALLATION

Cabloc comprises a vertical tensioned cable which is clamped to the top of the structure such as a ladder with an impact indicating shock absorber. The arrester device with double cam brake is then connected to the cable and via a karabiner to the operative’s harness.

SETTING SAFETY STANDARDS

Cabloc vertical fall arrest system is fully tested and meets or exceeds current safety requirements including:

• EN 353-2

ANNUAL INSPECTION AND RECERTIFICATION

Fall protection systems must be maintained and examined at least once a year as outlined in standards and legislation such as EN 365, EN 795 and BS 7883.
